8.1Quota rules
The six tools fall into two groups, with different rules — because their cost structures differ.
Group one: calculation (chart casting, date selection)
| Free users | Members | |
|---|---|---|
| BaZi chart casting | 10 uses for life (max 3/day) | 5 per day |
| Auspicious date selection | Shares those 10 uses | 5 per day |
| After that | 200 credits per use, or subscribe | 100 credits per use |
These two are pure calculation — no large language model involved — so we can afford to be generous. But you get 10, not 10 a day: enough to understand your chart, not enough to live on.
Group two: generation (hexagrams, synastry, tarot, naming)
| Free users | Members | |
|---|---|---|
| Hexagrams / synastry / tarot / naming | 3 uses for life (shared across all four) | 10 per month total (shared) |
| After that | 200 credits per use, or subscribe | 100 credits per use |
Each of these runs a language model, so the cost is real. Ten a month is enough for one synastry reading, one naming, and four questions to the hexagrams.
Two general rules
Quota accumulates on the account — it doesn't reset when you change devices, and it doesn't refresh
Members pay half for overage (100 vs 200 credits)
8.2The six tools
① BaZi chart casting · 200 credits
When: you want to see your four pillars, or cast a chart for someone else
You'll see: four pillars, day master strength, five-element distribution, ten-god layout, decade cycles
Note: casting shows structure; it doesn't judge. For interpretation, use the book.
② I Ching (hexagrams) · 200 credits
When: you have one specific matter you can't decide
How: hold the question in mind → follow the prompts → receive the hexagram
You'll see: primary hexagram, changed hexagram, moving lines, six relations, interpretation
Key: the more specific the question, the better. "Should I change jobs" works; "how is my future" doesn't.
③ Auspicious date selection · 200 credits
When: moving house, opening a business, signing, weddings
How: choose the event type and a date range → candidate dates and hours
Note: this is traditional folk reference. For major matters, let real-world conditions decide.
④ Synastry · 200 credits
When: you want to see the rhythm between two people
How: enter both birth details → the two charts are set side by side
You'll see: five-element complementarity, tension points, ease and friction
Note: synastry reads how you get along, not whether you should be together. Every relationship has tension; don't read tension as incompatibility.
⑤ Chinese name reference · 200 credits
When: naming a newborn, or considering a change of name
How: enter surname + birth details → suggested characters
You'll see: element supplementation direction, meaning, sound and rhythm
Note: this is a direction for choosing characters, not a mandate. Combine it with family custom and personal taste.
⑥ Tarot · 200 credits
When: you want another angle on a situation
How: choose a spread → draw → read
Note: tarot and BaZi are two languages; there's no need to verify one against the other.
8.3Three ways to spend fewer credits
Check your quota first — credits only start deducting after the lifetime 10 / 3 are used
One question per synastry reading — repeating a reading is no substitute for reading one well
Use member quota for the expensive tools — hexagrams and naming cost the most; keep them inside your 10 per month
