15FAQ

On charts

Q: What if I don't know my birth hour?

Choose "hour unknown". Most chapters are unaffected; chapters sensitive to the hour are marked "accuracy limited".

Q: I entered the wrong birthday. Do I pay again after fixing it?

An already-unlocked book must be regenerated. Members regenerate at no extra credit cost; credit users spend credits once more.

Q: Why is my book different from someone born on the same day?

Different hours mean different pillars. Even with identical pillars, a different birthplace (true solar time) can change the hour pillar.

Q: Born abroad — should I convert to Beijing time?

No. Enter the local date and time at your birthplace and select the actual city. The system handles timezone and true solar time correction. Converting first means the correction happens twice, and the chart will be wrong.

Q: Born during daylight saving time?

Enter the time shown on the clock; you don't subtract an hour. The system applies historical rules.

Q: I only know my lunar birthday.

Please enter the Gregorian date for now; if you only know the lunar one, convert it with any online tool first.

On credits and subscription

Q: What happens when my free quota runs out?

Casting and date selection share 10 uses for life; AI tools share 3. You then have two options: buy credits (200 per use) or subscribe (5 castings per day, 10 AI tools per month).

Q: Does the quota reset monthly?

No. These are lifetime quotas — when they're gone, they're gone.

Q: Do credits expire?

No. But the reading window of a report unlocked with credits does (see 14.1).

Q: If I subscribe, do I still spend credits?

Membership includes the book, annual book, decade cycles and monthly readings — no credits deducted. Tools only cost credits once your quota is used up.

Q: Can I subscribe for just one month?

Yes; cancel any time.

Q: How do I get a refund?

Through your App Store / Google Play purchase history.

Q: I changed phones and my membership is gone.

Sign in to the same account. If you switched platforms (iOS ↔ Android), subscriptions don't carry over — subscribe again in the other store.

On features

Q: What is "same-day"?

People born on the same day as you. In the past, historical figures; now, people alive today; later, those yet to be born.

Q: Does Xiao K remember what I say?

Only within the current conversation. Come back later and it's a fresh start; nothing carries over.

Q: Why doesn't Xiao K remember last time?

By design, not a bug. Each user has one window with Xiao K, and there is no cross-session memory. If you want to continue, finish in one conversation.

Q: What if I don't understand something in my book?

Ask Xiao K. It answers from your chart, not with dictionary definitions.

Q: What's the difference between Xiao K and talking to a figure?

Xiao K guides and accompanies — it helps you think things through. Figure conversations carry that person's temperament and voice: you're talking with them, not asking about them.

Q: Does figure chat count against Xiao K's quota?

No. Two independent systems; content and quota don't interact.

Q: Do bottles leak my privacy?

Bottles are anonymous — only your chosen nickname appears, never birth details.

Q: Why do AI answers sometimes sound generic?

The AI's only job is turning chart structure into plain language. Vague questions ("what should I do") produce empty answers. Give context.

On your account

Q: Can I change my nickname?

Yes, under Me → Edit profile, once per month.

Q: Can a deleted account be restored?

Within the 7-day cooling-off period, yes. After that, data is permanently deleted.

Q: How many accounts per phone number?

One.
